Key Latino Organizations for Young Leaders

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute develops the next generation of Latino leaders by offering educational and leadership development programs, services, and activities that promote the growth of participants as effective professionals and strong leaders, specifically a summer internship and one-year fellowship program on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, and scholarship programs.

NALEO – SLIP program The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund is the leading organization that empowers Latinos to participate fully in the America political process, from citizenship to public service. (See Shell Legislative Internship Program and Ford Motor Fellows Program)

HACU – National Internship Program recruits college students for paid summer- and semester-long internships at federal agencies and private corporations in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country.

NALFO (National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations) is an umbrella council for Latino Greek Letter Organizations.
